You have decided that a convincing motif designed by yourself is more suitable for your target group? No problem! Shirtee.de gives you the option to add an image on your shirt. Just click on the button “ADD AN IMAGE” on the left, next to the button “ADD TEXT”.

Now you can upload an image by clicking on the “Browse” button and choosing it from one of the folders on your computer.

You can now alter it in the same way as you have learned in the previous chapter “Add text”. All the settings relocating, resizing, choosing front or back of the shirt, changing the color of the shirt, preferred product are available.

However, there are a lot of things you need to be aware of when adding an image to your product in order to receive the best quality in the end. We will explain you the options, differences as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the different options here.

1. You can use a raster or pixel graphic, which you can recognize by e.g. the file extension “.png”. These graphics are made of many pixels in different colors. They can have different resolutions. To guarantee that your motif will have the right image sharpness you need to pay attention to the following:

• Only use graphics with a resolution of at least 150 dpi – ideally 300 dpi
• Your image should have a transparent background, otherwise a white background will appear on the printed shirt.

2. You can upload a vector graphic, which you can recognize by e.g. the file extension “.eps” or “.ai”. In contrast to the raster or pixel graphic, these graphics consist of dots, lines and curves. This guarantees a consistent quality no matter how strong the motif is being magnified.

We recommend uploading a vector graphic. Please be aware, that your file must not exceed 10 MB!

Of course, you can combine step 2.1 and 2.2 by adding a slogan of YOUR choice to YOUR motif.
