You can gain an even better insight into your campaign statistics through Google Analytics. This free tool not only measures the sales and conversions on your page, but also tracks how many users have visited your page, how they got there and how you can turn these users into regular visitors.
With this variety of information, which are accessible during AND after your campaign, you can analyze your customers’ online behavior and take appropriate measures if necessary.
You can track:
Which items were purchased
Which color the items had
Through which medium the page was accessed the most
How long the visitors stayed on the page
A Google Analytics Account is needed in order to receive all of these information. We will explain you how to create and use a Google Analytics account here:
Create a Gmail account
Please click on “Create Gmail Account”. No worries, the account is fr free. If you already have a Gmail account, just log in.
Select the button “Create New Account” and enter all the information needed. You can freely choose the account name and property. Please enter “shirtee.de” in the field “Website-URL”. Now you only need to select the right time zone, choose “Get Tracking ID” on the bottom of the page, accept the terms of use and continue.
Select “Admin” from the top menu and change a few settings in order to receive the best results. Select “E-Commerce Settings”.
Enable “E-Commerce” and “Enhanced E-Commerce Settings” by turning the switch to “on”. Important: Click “Submit” in order to save the settings.
Select “View Settings” and change the currency to Euro.

In order to receive an accurate result, you need to make a few more settings. Specific websites must be excluded from the tracking, otherwise they will invalidate your results.
Choose the menu option “Property”, select “Tracking Info” and click “Referral Exclusion List”
Many customers are using PayPal as an online payment service, therefore you should definitely add Paypal.de to this list. Otherwise your results will be invalid, if the tracker registers that the customer has left the page for the online payment.
Now add your Tracking Code to your Shirtee account. Access shirtee.de, choose “My account”, type in the GA-Code and save your changes.

That’s it. Now you can access, observe and analyze all the information on your campaign through Google Analytics.
